THIS IS YOUR ALL VEGAN FLOATING HOTEL

A fine 361-foot (110-meter) riverboat, ms Thurgau Prestige accommodates no more than 124 guests, while similar-sized riverboats average about 160-180. Guest amenities inside her 14 lush 300-square-foot Master Suites include brocade upholstery, roomy walk-in closets with built-in drawers, spacious bathrooms with full-size tubs, and two French balconies with floor-to-ceiling windows that open to idyllic riverscapes. She also sports seven 183-square-foot cabins, similarly furnished. Standard cabins (150 square feet) are cozy and comfortable and are similar in décor and style to our larger suites. 85% have floor-to-ceiling windows with real French balconies that open on to a balcony in the fresh air; all have in-room movies, minibar, adjustable heating and cooling, private bathroom and shower with pampering vegan organic toiletries.

Begin the first day of the new year with a visit to Antwerp, a city known for its creative and innovative people. It’s the largest city in Flanders and offers everything you need to have a good time. Everything is a little bit different in Antwerp – you shop in buildings that elsewhere would be museums and find more diamonds in one square kilometer than anywhere else in the world. One example for this extravaganza is The Stadsfeestzaal, a shopping mall completely decorated with gold leaf.

Antwerp is a metropolis with a small-town sentiment in which you can quickly taste all the styles, colors and flavors because of its more than 510,000 inhabitants from 174 different nationalities. During winter the city is beautifully lit with many different lights and you can enjoy its charm in one of the many winter bars with a hot beverage in your hands, or more actively with a visit at the Ferris wheel or the atmospheric ice rink. At 2pm we set sail again towards Brussels.
