Gain an in-depth perspective of one of the most culturally significant parts of India onboard the exclusively chartered Ganges Voyager.
The 28 well equipped suites are adorned with hand-painted murals, teak floors, Bengal renaissance and campaign antiques, fine silver and china. Each of the five categories of the cabins has large sliding patio doors which offer an extraordinary perspective on slow river life and the beauty of the Ganges.
Dining is based around the East India Restaurant on the main deck where the vegan chef will be happy to make something special and can accommodate any dietary requirements, creating fresh delicious Indian and Indian fusion cuisine. Enjoy an all-vegan buffet breakfast, lunch and seated dinner. The Lounge Bar is the heart of the boat where you can enjoy cocktails, fine Indian and imported wines, tea and coffee and on-board entertainment. The sun deck is partly covered and the boat has a lounge, spa, gym and observation deck.
The onshore experiences are fully guided and come alive with interesting stories about local culture and customs. There is a maximum of 20 guests per expert guide when out and about.
Ganges Voyager implements a number of eco-conscious activities with a view to reducing their overall impact on the environment. There is a plastic-free policy on board - with biodegradable straws, stirrers and rubbish bags. Refillable metal bottles are offered for drinking water. Soaps are provided in paper box wrapping to avoid plastic usage. Shore power connection on jetties reducing generator usage and the ship is fitted with a state of the art engine to reduce pollution.
The boat is fitted with international standard water and wastewater treatment plants that treat the water before returning it to the river. They are also engaged in wildlife and habitat conservation projects in partnership with NGOs.

The most luxurious and spacious suite aboard, with 400 sq. ft. of space, the Maharaja Suite is a haven of luxury. Embellished with Persian rugs, Burma teak floors and rich tapestry, it also has a flat screen TV, on-demand movie service, and a writing desk. Bathrooms are as luxurious as the room and are fitted with both spacious bathtub and shower panels. Daily butler service and in-room dining are also available on request.
